I've been searching the internetz to find that many, in fact most, people believe that Kraid is a miniboss. And I say.. no!
He's relevent to the storyline of Super Metroid, therefore, I classify that as a boss. Difficulty shouldn't have anything to do with it. sure, he's a pussy... but he's an important pussy. D:

I say boss, you need to destroy him in order to get into Tourian. He's the first "key", you can say, so I count it!

Though....three super missiles and one missle ( Super Metroid ), you think he'd be a mini boss because he dies by just these items. >w>
